The Union Internationale de Phlébologie UIP and Chemische Fabrik Kreussler & Co. GmbH are pleased to announce the 3rd UIP Research Fellowship Kreussler Young Scientists’ Sclerotherapy Award 2013. The Research Fellowship is endowed with 10.000,– €! The award is intended as a grant for generating and conducting a clinical,
preclinical or experimental research sclerotherapy project in the field of phlebology, especially for young scientists.

Servier /UIP  Research Fellowship

Every two years the UIP offers to a young researcher a Fellowship of 25.000 Euro, funded by Servier International for an original research project in the field of venous and/or lymphatic diseases. This project may be fundamental or clinical. Competition is now open for the 2013-2015 Fellowship. The deadline for the submission of projects is March 29th 2013. UIP Reasearch Fellowship SERVIER Young Scientists’ Award 2011:

Dr. Győző SZOLNOKY

Gyozo Szolnoky was born in 1971 and is currently an Assistant Professor of the Department of Dermatology and Allergology at the University of Szeged, Hungary.
Dr. Szolnoky’s main fields of research interest comprise lipoedema and general lymphology, venous leg ulcer healing, infection control and their immunological backgrounds.
He has been awarded by the 2011 UIP-Servier research fellowship.
Dr. Szolnoky is a member of several international and hungarian vascular and dermatological societies and one of the founders of Balkan Venous Forum.
