HONG KONG SELECTED TO HOST THE 2029 WUIP WORLD CONGRESS
Following a vote by the WUIP General Council at the UIP2025 World Congress in Buenos Aires, Hong Kong has been selected as the host destination for the 2029 WUIP World Congress.

Korean Society of Phlebology (WUIP Member), Vascular Association of Malaysia (non-WUIP Member), Taiwan Society for Vascular Surgery (non-WUIP Member), Hong Kong Society for Vascular Surgery (non-WUIP Member)
Bid Process
The bid process for the 2029 WUIP World Congress destination has now concluded. The WUIP General Council reviewed and voted on the submitted bids during the UIP2025 World Congress in Buenos Aires, with Hong Kong selected as the winning host destination.
Complete Bid
The submission period for the 2029 WUIP World Congress bid has now closed. Two bids were received and reviewed by the WUIP General Council.
Presentation and Bid Vote
Both bidding societies presented their bids at the UIP2025 World Congress in Buenos Aires, followed by a vote of the WUIP General Council. Hong Kong was selected as the host destination for the 2029 WUIP World Congress.
