Notice of an Online General Council Meeting of the International Union of Phlebology Limited

Dear General Council members, 

We are glad to announce an upcoming online General Council Meeting of the members of the International Union of Phlebology Limited (UIP), ACN 655 067 235). The online meeting will be at 14:00PM (Universal Time Zone) on the 13th of September, 2025, noting that the date and time may be different for different time zones. Member societies will need to register their attendees to the online meeting. A registration link will be sent to member societies on the 25th of August. A link to the online meeting will be sent to attendees upon registration.

The online meeting will offer the chance to update members on the issues to be discussed in the General Council Meeting to be held in Buenos Aires in October during the 2025 UIP World Congress. This will allow members to provide feedback, as well as time to consult their societies about the issues to be voted upon in October. Please note that the online meeting will be for discussion and feedback and that no voting will be conducted during the online meeting. 

Moreover, it will provide the chance to discuss whatever topic the members will like to present. In order to optimize the timing and organization of the meeting, items proposed by the members will be discussed on a “first come first served” basis, for which we kindly ask your eventual contribution in advance (president@uipmail.org, execdirector@uipmail.org). Deadline for discussion topic submission is 31st August, 2025. 

I take this chance to remind you every 24 of the month an open access video call is hosted to give voice to and update the members and all the vein-lymphatic community.
