Malay Patel, is a vascular specialist, in private practice in Ahmedabad, India. He is a vascular and endovascular surgeon by training.

He is the past president of the Vascular Society of India and founding president of the Venous Association of India.

His main interest in arterial surgery lies in distal revascularizations for critical ischemia, carotid endarterectomies and hybrid treatments for ischemia and aneurysms. His main interest in phlebology lies in using ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy and understanding venodynamics.
