The International Union of Phlebology (UIP) expresses its strong support and sympathy for our colleagues, members, friends and all people impacted by the current conflict in Ukraine.

The UIP is a non-political international organisation representing phlebology and vascular societies aiming to improve the standards of education, research and healthcare in the management of venous and lymphatic disorders and to provide a platform for scientific exchange and dialogue amongst our members and the wider community. We encourage our member societies and the phlebology communities from the countries involved in the current conflict to restore and maintain their close and cordial relationships with each other and continue the dialogue. Your leadership in the medical field to restore peace and dialogue can be a model for the rest of the society.
